"… As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another…" PROVERBS 27:17

FPC Men exists to connect all First Presbyterian men to the church’s mission and a discipleship lifestyle. FPC Men includes all men, wherever they may be in life’s journey, and includes a wide range of opportunities for men to Connect, Serve, and Grow.

We also want to support and encourage new initiatives that are brought forth by men in our community. If you have a passion for an activity or ministry that can help further God’s kingdom, we would love to hear from you.

We celebrate the places men are engaged in the work of the Lord, encourage all men to get involved, and assist men to be leaders in the home, church, and community. Men are invited to weekly and periodic events throughout the year. Visit the Featured Events page and look at Men’s Ministry section for current events and opportunities to connect.

Mission Opportunities

Jobs for Life is a transformational ministry designed to equip men who are getting back up on their feet to find and keep a job. This 25-year-old program has transformed the lives of over 45,000 people and their families.

The FPC Men’s Ministry is partnering with Miracle Hill’s Greenville Rescue Mission to begin the first eight-week class in March (conditions permitting). We pray that a few men with a heart to serve others will join our team to serve as mentors. We also pray that business owners will volunteer to serve as guest speakers and provide help with interview practice.

Visit to learn more.

Jobs for Life is a ministry that transforms the lives of everyone who gets involved, both students and volunteers. Several great people are already on the team, but we still need your talents! Let’s talk about how you can contribute to this ministry.

As Jesus said in Matthew 25:40, “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
