Ignite Worship Team Audition Process

We will review your videos and email you back with a next step for you in the audition process. If you play multiple instruments and want to audition with them all, we ask that you submit videos for each. This includes vocalists who also play instruments.

Preparing Your Audition

To start the Audition Preparation, download the “Audition Resources” file. Once downloaded, open the file and find the pdf file “First Pres Auditions- Musical Preparation” to view a breakdown of the available preparation resources.

Drums, Bass, Keys & Guitar Prep

Play "This God is Our God” by Ignite Worship.

Vocalist Prep

Male Vocalists:
Sing lead vocal on "This God is Our God" and sing a Verse and Chorus of a song of your choice a cappella.

Female Vocalists:
Sing lead vocal on "This God is Our God Female Reference" (key of F) and background vocal on "This God is Our God reference" (key of B). Sing a Verse and Chorus of a song of your choice a cappella.

Submit any videos of your live performances. Please send these links as well.

Creating Your Video

Download

Download the “Audition Resources” file. Once downloaded, open the file and find the pdf file “First Pres Audition- Creating and Submitting your video Audition” and follow the instructions for your instrument.

Upload

Upload your video via YouTube. Under privacy settings, select "Unlisted" and title with "Your Name-First Pres Worship Band Audition"

Submit

Submit your audition by filling out the Ignite Worship Team Audition Form. Include the YouTube link to your video on the form.
