The coronavirus disease has been dominating news headlines for the last few weeks and the situation has been changing at a rapid pace. Earlier today I sought the advice of the Session and we have voted to cancel all services tomorrow Sunday the 15th of March.

As a church, we will continue to seek the advice of the Greenville County and Greenville City Departments of Health along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We will update you as we move forward.

Most of you are aware that we are cleaning and wiping down all public areas in the church and making hand wipes and sanitizer available for your use. If you or a family member is demonstrating symptoms of ill health, especially a fever, persistent cough or shortness of breath please contact your doctor. If you have any underlying health issues please remain at home.

The President has declared Sunday the 15th of March a National Day of Prayer and as a church, we are asking you to be praying for the most vulnerable in our communities, our local and national leaders, and of course all medical staff who are at the forefront of this pandemic.

Each Sunday we broadcast the previous Sunday’s sermon on Fox Carolina at 10:30am and if you wish to worship tomorrow please tune in.

Please be assured of my prayers for you, your family, the most vulnerable in our society, and for our nation as we prayerfully respond to the challenges ahead. We would also appreciate your prayers for our church leadership as we navigate these unchartered waters.
